Vicoustic Super Bass Extreme Ultra VMT Bass Trap Panels - Box of 2
Vicoustic Super Bass Extreme Ultra VMT panels are built for low frequency control in corners. They absorb sound between 60 and 125 Hertz, with the strongest results in the 75 to 100 Hertz range. The Virtual Material Technology front panel adds some mid and high frequency absorption, which helps manage corner reflections while keeping the room sounding natural. With six solid color options, the panels have a simple look that fits into many different room styles.
Standard porous materials do not work as well in corners because long wavelengths mean lower air movement. The Super Bass Extreme Ultra VMT uses an internal membrane that responds to high sound pressure by turning pressure changes into air movement. This membrane works mainly in the 75 to 100 Hertz range, pushing air through dense foam to absorb low frequencies. The modular design is useful in small rooms with bass buildup, since more units can be stacked as needed.
Each panel measures 595 by 595 by 169 millimeters and weighs 8.2 kilograms. The construction uses VicPET Wool, Vicycle, MDF, and High Pressure Laminate, so the panels work in a range of setups. Wall mounting is possible with the included VicFix J Profile hardware, or panels can be put together by hand without tools. For ceiling installs, Flexi Glue Ultra and the 225 millimeter VicFix Suspension profile are also options. This makes the panels a flexible choice for different sound system layouts.
